Our body is made up of billions of cells. To study them in the laboratory, the researchers make cell cultures. The research in Cell Biology brings hope and excitement that scientists are happy to share with the public.

Les cellules déambulent(strolling cells!) (LCD) is a group of scientists and artists using live performance to show the public how cells function, what they are capable of, and how they are cultured in a laboratory. The LCD members wear cell costumes, perform street theater and dance, organize visits and games….

Many researchers, students and laboratory staff from Lyon take part every year in these scientific actions, organized by LCD with the help of financial and logistical partners.
